The LDK team knows that building a new home is an exciting time.  We want to do all that we can to make your process smooth and enjoyable.  Here is an overview of what our home building process looks like.

Choose from one of our floor plans

​

We have a wide variety of unique floor plans. with various elevation choices. you can choose your new home floor plan based on square footage or number of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Select your home site

​

LDK Builders offers a wide variety of locations and elevation styles.  Whether you have your own land or choose to build on an LDK lot, we have options for walk outs, look outs and full basements.

Set final price of your new home and closing date

​

After you have chosen your floor plan, home site and base options for things such as windows, exterior product and flooring surfaces, we will determine the purchase price and approximate closing date.

Review purchase agreement and earnest money down

​

 Once the purchase price and approximate closing date have been set, we will require earnest money to begin building.  If you should you have any special circumstance or situation, we are happy to talk through additional options with you. Your earnest money should be included with your signed purchase agreement and a lender pre-approval letter.

Now that you have purchased your new home, the excitement of bringing your own unique decorative touches to your home begins. Our award wining designer, DeAnne Koppendrayer walks through the entire process by accompanying you to each design selection appointment. Her expertise and knowledge bring clients peace knowing their home will shine with beauty.
